Everything you need to show up.
Free 60-min Class
A full beginner-friendly group class — same class our regular members train in. No watered-down intro session.
Gi Loaner
Don't own a gi? We've got clean loaner gis in your size. Just show up in shorts or athletic wear underneath.
Beginner Group
You'll be partnered with patient training partners who remember being new. No ego, no surprise rolls.
Coach Q&A
Stay after class for a relaxed Q&A with the coach. Ask anything — schedule, programs, what to expect next.
Just you.
You don't need a gi, a belt, or any prior experience. Wear comfortable athletic clothing (a fitted t-shirt and shorts or athletic pants without pockets or zippers work great), bring a water bottle, and arrive about 10 minutes early so we can get you signed in and on the mats.
Walk in nervous. Walk out hooked.

Adults train Monday through Thursday evenings from 5:45pm, at 6am on Mon/Wed/Fri, and on weekend mornings. Kids classes run earlier in the evening. Pick a time, book your trial, and we'll see you on the mats.

Common questions.
Do I need any experience?
None at all. Most people who walk through our doors have never trained a martial art before. Our beginner-friendly classes are designed to teach you the fundamentals step by step, and our coaches and training partners will guide you through every drill.
What if I'm out of shape?
BJJ meets you where you are. We have members who started in their 40s, 50s, and beyond, and others who came in completely deconditioned. You set your own pace, take breaks when you need them, and your fitness will improve naturally as you train consistently.
Will I have to spar?
Not on your trial. Live sparring (we call it rolling) is optional and only happens after you've learned the basics safely. On your first class you'll drill techniques with a partner — no surprise rolls, no pressure, no one trying to prove anything.
